WritoFest is a National Level Annual Literary Fest and signature event of Scriptink, comprising of two events, one of which being a Writing Competition event, 'Ink your script' and a LIVE talk show by famous authors/poets/speakers of all four languages from different states, 'Mic of Motivation'. In the writing competition, the participants will write and submit through the portal in android app on the given themes and compete against each other, choosing any form of writing (Quote, Poetry, Article or Story) and writing in any one of the language (English, Hindi, Kannada or Urdu). There are equal rewards for all categories and all langauges. 'Mic of Motivation' is for Speakers, Writers, and Poets to guide, share their insights with the participants along with recitations of their writings and motivate the participants. We encourage and inspire more women to pursue it and be a part of it. Let the weekend be full of Joy, learning, exposure to how professional think, express in form of literature and lifetime experience of meet. It is a full day event. In his long Journey of Writing he has published 48 anthologies of ODES. 6 Ballets (Dance – Dramas), 5 Life Sketches Ballets (Biographies), 29 anthologies of Critical Essays, 4 Travelogues, 2 Criticisms in Kannada Language, besides innumerable literary articles in Vernacular Journals and Periodicals. He has penned lyrics for more than 500 songs with many achieving critical acclaim and awards. He has written dialogues for more than 10 films and has scripted over 100 tele-serials. He has been awarded Padmashree Award in 2018 and many state awards.Since1st of August 1997 the American Biographical Institute of USA has appointed Dr.DoddarangeGowda as an Indian councillor. This is a great honour and recognition given by ABI USA for humble and simple Kannada writer.
K. Sachidanandan is a noted Indian poet and critic, writing in Malayalam and English. A pioneer of modern poetry in Malayalam, a bilingual literary critic, playwright, editor, columnist and translator, he is the former Editor of Indian Literature journal and the former Secretary of SahityaAkademi. He is also social advocate for secular anti-caste views, supporting causes like environment, human rights and free software and is a well-known speaker on issues concerning contemporary Indian literature. He is the festival director of Kerala Literature Festival
He achieved the status of semi-finalist of renowned TV show "The Great Indian Laughter Challenge-3", he can also be seen very frequently in a popular political TV show on News 18 India named "Lapete Mein Netaji" as well. He is a regular columnist in sociopolitical magazine Sopan-Step. His articles, poems and satires are being regularly published with various newspapers and magazines. He has recited poem more than 1000 kavi-sammelans all over the country. He is the winner of Delhi HansodDangal aired on AajTak.
She is a professional writer, poet, translator and freelance columnist with literary proficiency in English and Kannada. She worked with the Centre for Wildlife Studies as media manager. She has been in the employ of Wildlife Conservation Society-India as media and outreach manager. She has contributed editorial articles to Deccan Herald and several Kannada newspapers, currently authoring a weekly column in Vishwavani. She was Long listed for Toto Awards 2018 for Poetry in Kannada and English. She is the first person to translate cult publication, Zen Pencils, into an Indian language (Kannada).
He has edited influential anthologies, including: The HarperCollins Book of English Poetry (editor), World English Poetry, and Modern English Poetry by Younger Indians (Sahitya Akademi). Sen’s works have been translated into over 25 languages He is the editorial director of AARK ARTS, editor of Atlas, and currently the inaugural artist-in-residence at the Museo Camera. Sen is the first Asian honoured to deliver the Derek Walcott Lecture and read at the Nobel Laureate Festival. The Government of India awarded him the senior fellowship for “outstanding persons in the field of culture/literature.”
Sukrita Paul Kumar is an Indian poet, critic, and academician. She is chief editor of Cultural Diversity, Linguistic Plurality and Literary Traditions of India, a textbook prescribed by the University of Delhi for course use in its Honours B.A. programme. As Director of a UNESCO project on The Culture of Peace, she edited Mapping Memories, a volume of Urdu short stories from India and Pakistan. Sukrita Paul Kumar was awarded the Visitorship at Concordia University for the designing of a course on Indian Women and their Lives in 2009.
